Our PADI Master Instructor and Course Director prep. Internships

Sushi Burger Divers experienced PADI Master Instructors, have been training dive professionals for more than 20 years. With global experience and ownership of a Sushi Burger Divers, PADI 5 Star IDC centre since 2007, we will soon be offering you this tailor made internship. You will gain knowledge and connections to excel as a PADI Master Instructor and we will even assist your in aiming for the prestigious PADI Course Director title.

This internship is unique, focusing on enhancing your IDC staffing, counselling and evaluation skills. You will learn about the business of diving, management and dive centre ownership and much more. If you wish to apply for the PADI Course Director rating in the future, we can assist with your application. With our guidance and commitment, you will develop the confidence and qualifications needed for a successful long term career in the dive industry

Master Instructor Prerequisites

• PADI IDC Staff Instructor
• PADI Instructor for two years
• Emergency First Response Instructor
• Participated in three PADI Seminars
• Issued 150 PADI certifications:
• At least 50 continuing education certifications (Adventure Diver or higher level) that include:  15 Specialty Divers, five Rescue Divers, five Divemasters and five Assistant Instructors.

Other ways to meet the 5 Assistant Instructor certification requirement:

• Staff two entire IDCs.
• Staff one entire IDC and certify three additional Assistant Instructors.

The Prerequisites for the IDC Staff Instructor Course are:

• Hold a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer certification
• Be renewed and in teaching status as a PADI diving instructor for the current year
• Agree to conduct all levels of diver training consistent with the standards and philosophy outlined in the PADI Instructor Manual
• Agree to use the PADI system and components in their entirety
